Due to overwhelming response to the previous pre-order and also a great interest shown on juvenile/ baby prints, i have decided to open for pre-order of these prints.

This is a very special prints; you can make soft book, flash cards, quilts, wallhanging, etc. Lots of inspiration on the web, check it out at MODA BakeShop and Sue Emran @ MyBotang. I'll post quilts that i make from the blue panel in my website aryssaiman.blogspot.com.

And also i got lots of request for the previous order after the submission, therefore i decided to repeat it again this month.

The process is easy.

1. Choose your panel (indicate by type and alphabet).

2. Pay deposit at least 50% before 2nd May 2011. Price per panel is RM45.

Sabar seminit ye..dan baca dulu sedikit maklumat untuk customer atau bakal customer DesignerCottonFabric (DCF). Ni tentang isu yang paling memenatkan bagi para peniaga Online iaitu ttg POST.

1. Di DCF kami menggunakan khidmat POSLAJU atau GDEX courier. Oleh kerana kami juga adalah pengguna, kami faham bahawa 'fast delivery' adalah amat bermakna. Kami cuba membuat penghantara selewat-lewatnya sehari selepas pembayaran dibuat, kecuali jika bayaran dibuat pada hari Khamis atau Jumaat, penghantaran terpaksa dibuat pada Hari Ahad.

2. Untuk makluman, kadar yang kami kenakan sebelum ini sebenarnya adalah lebih murah dari kadar sebenar. Tp bermula dari hari ini, oleh kerana Syarikat Penghantaran sudah ada yang menaikkan tariff masing-masing, kami terpaksa mengumumkan bahawa KADAR POS yang akan kami kenakan akan mengikut KADAR YANG SEBENAR. Mungkin terdapat pertambahan antara RM1-RM3.

3. Mulai 16/7/2010 juga, kami akan memberi DISKAUN RM4 kepada postage setiap RETURNING CUSTOMER untuk semua pembelian kalian yang seterusnya. Jika anda layak, sila maklumkan (in case kami x perasan).

4. Kami amat menggalakkan anda untuk memaklumkan segera sekiranya parcel anda tidak diterima SEHARI selepas penghantaran dibuat. DCF akan memaklumakan melalui email atau SMS tentang tarikh penghantaran. Dalam tempoh 2 minggu yang lepas, kami menerima 4 kes kelewatan yang mencecah seminggu! Sekiranya kami mendapat maklumat awal, kami dapat berurusan dengan syarikat penghantar dengan segera.

What is so special about charm packs?

1. It consists of 5 inch X 5 inch square cut fabrics. Numbers can range from 20++ to 50++ pcs. For Free Spirit products normally between 20 t0 30 pcs, whereas for MODA it can be from 20 to 50 pcs; at about the same price.

2. You can have bits of every design in the collection. Interesting, right? (Wat jamu mata, of course we cant afford to buy all design).

3. Because it is precisely pre-cut, it's hassle free especially if you want to make quilts.

Ini entry khas untuk menjawab soalan-soalan yang biasa ditanya oleh customer.

1. Apa beza jenis cotton ini dan cotton yg biasa di Malaysia?

Bezanya ini ialah American cotton, bukan Japanese, swiss, chinese, English, Viatnamese, etc. Jarang dijual diMalaysia kecuali di kedai2 yang khusus untuk peralatan Quilt.

2. Ukuran Yard tu berapa panjang?

Yard tu ialah ela. 1 ela bersamaan 0.91 meter. Jadi kalau untuk membuat pakaian yang biasa guna 4 meter (contoh baju kurung), kain ini hendaklah dibeli sekurang-kurangnya 4.5yard.

3. Kenapa jual by yard? by 1/2 yard? and even Fat quarter?

Di website ini kami menjual dalam kuantiti sedikit untuk reday stock item kerana harganya yang mahal membuatkan pembeli fikir berkali2 kalau nak buat baju kurung. Selain itu, corak2 yang ada amat cantik untuk digunakan sebagai pakaian kanak2 atau blouse dan skirt. Teknik matching atau cantum-cantum juga amat sesuai, maka tidak menjadi masalah kalau ianya boleh dibeli dalam 'cutting' yang kecil. Selain pakaian, cotton ini juga amat cantik dan sesuai dijadikan patchwork utk quilt atau sebarang craft.

4. Oppss..Fat quarter tu apa?

Oh, maaf. Fat Quarter adalah ukuran utk sebidang kain (dengan lebar 45inci dan panjang 36 inci) dibahagi 4. Atau ringkasnya 22 inci x 18 inci.

5. Apsal mahal sangat? berganda harganya dengan cotton biasa?

Mahal kerana ianya diimport dari Amerika. Mills (kilang pembuat) juga di Amerika bukan China. Dan paling istimewa, anda boleh lihat corak serta koleksi yang diselaras antara satu sama lain. Ianya dipanggil designer cotton kerana corak2 adalah ciptaan Designer tertentu bukan seperti cotton yang biasa kita jumpa di sini yang tidak diketahui siapa perekanya. Selain itu kualiti kain lebih baik, lebih tebal sedikit dari cotton kita, serta warna-warna yang menarik. (ketebalan dan kualiti kadangkala bergantung kepada manufacturer)

6. Pre-order tu apa? (Hehe..jangan marah, soalan ni pun kadang2 ditanya)

Pre-order ialah order dahulu barulah barang akan dipesan dari pembekal. Utk cotton ini, biasanya customer perlu menunggu lebih kurang 2 minggu selepas membuat bayaran.

7. Boleh tak saya nak beli borong? dan berapa harganya?

Maaf sangat2 sebab kami x menjual secara borong. Kami sendiri menjual cotton ini kerana 'passion' dan tidak memiliki stok yang besar. Jika ditolak secara borong sekalipun, kami tidak mampu menawarkan harga yang menguntungkan kedua2dua belah pihak.

Quilting IDEAS...

If you are just plain urmmm..lazy, just make a simple quilt and add sashing to make it bigger, kids size. It will be pretty enough without spending much time for the partwork part.

If not, you can cut each and every 28 frames and put sashing in between to create a bigger and better looks. Use pastel colours to soften the look.

Other than quilt, this panel can also be playmat or educational material for your kids.

While waiting for the pre order fabric to arrive, let's have a look at my first attempt to create a tutorial. Actually it is not originally mine, i've just remake it with some modification here and there. Perfect for beginners.

I have planned for this once i saw Eden out in the market. I've always love Lila Tueller's choice of colours. At first i'd a hard time deciding whether to make pre-order for Chez Moi's Hunky Dory of Lila Tueller's Eden. Both collection are sugar sweet colours, flowing pastel florals; just my fav type of colour pallettes. Then i saw that Hunky Dory is already in Zura's pre order list of fabric so if you'd love to order that, just make a selection from her store. However, if you'd love to have Eden, why don't you stop here and take a closer look at her fabulous collection.

Okey..saya memang suka menjahit. malangnya selepas dah siap jahit sy tak tau nak buat apa. Nak pakai sendiri cukuplah 1 or 2 beg kan. Nak bagi anak pakai dress, anak sumer boy. Kain2 koleksi ni amat lah sweet nya kalau nak buat alas kusyen, bantal kusyen, beg, dan dress budak pompuan serta dress mak budak pun. Kat atas adalah gambar2 simple tote bag yg dibuka untuk order.Stok sedia ada adalah beg bunga merah n bag bunga biru kecil (gambar last). Kalo berminat nak order guna kain yg lain pun, boleh customize ikut selera masing-masing. Nanti sy akan masukkan fabric-fabric yang ada untuk pilihan. Material yang digunakan adalah US cotton fabric, memang berkualiti dan tebal sikit. Dlm contoh kat atas ada jugak yg dibuat dari gabungan Japanese cotton, drapery cotton, english cotton. Yg takde cuma Madras cotton..heheh..
